The brief
A twelve-month programme of works to an occupied residential development in London, completed in 2023.
The scheme ran for a full year with residents in place, which put stakeholder management on the critical path alongside the construction sequence.
Numerous technical challenges emerged as the existing build-up was opened up. Each was resolved with the employer's team rather than around them, and the project manager's flexibility in handling them was specifically commended in the client's reference.
The same individual dealt directly with the employer's team, residents and wider stakeholders throughout — a single, consistent point of contact for a building full of people living through a construction programme.
