The brief
Remediation of a prominent curved residential building in central Brighton, delivered under the Cladding Safety Scheme with all apartments occupied throughout the programme.
The building sits on a busy junction with a continuous public frontage, so scaffold design had to solve pedestrian protection and highway management before it solved access. The curved elevation added a further layer of setting-out complexity.
Leaseholder engagement ran alongside the construction programme rather than behind it — a requirement of publicly funded remediation, and an area the client's consultant singled out in their reference.
Senior leadership site visits from the Cladding Safety Scheme referred to Royal View as an example of good practice within the cladding remediation sector.
