CBG is an experienced regional contractor delivering new build, design and build and refurbishment solutions to both the public and private sector throughout London and the South-East. Formed in 2014 by Managing Director Matthew Kavanagh-Clarke, CBG have built a reputation for delivering high quality, professional construction projects, with a repeat business rate of over 80%.
We specialise in education, commercial, healthcare, super-prime residential and cladding remediation projects across which we have developed an extensive portfolio of successfully delivered projects. Our head office is based in Lancing, West Sussex with a second office in London Bridge.

The company was set up to provide a Tier One Contractor approach to managing a project professionally and safely to small and mid-size regional projects. CBG’s first projects were carried out within the educational and residential sectors, where we have developed a strong portfolio.
CBG expanded their expertise to deliver high-rise and multi-unit façade remediation works; providing cladding and render replacement to buildings in both London and the South-East.
CBG have developed an enviable portfolio and reputation within this sector, with a unique knowledge of the specific requirements of replacing cladding to buildings, whilst they remain fully occupied.
CBG have welcomed both Alan Coe and Mustafa Ulla to the board in recent years, bringing together many years of expertise in different market sectors. Following the past nine-years of successful growth, we recently opened our London Office to support our growing foothold in the capital.
Our London Bridge office was opened in March 2023. With the opening of our new London Office we aim for controlled growth to a turnover of £50m by 2025.
Matt has over twenty-years experience in the construction industry. He is BA(Hons) and NEBOSH Qualified.
Mus is an award winning construction professional, FCIOB with over thirty-years construction experience.
Duncan is an experienced Commercial Director dedicated to strong collaboration and lasting industry relationships.
Joe has a BSc(Hons) in Design and Construction Management and is a black CSCS cardholder.
Alan has a BSC in Civil Engineering and is responsible for our design co-ordination and management.
